Cookie policy
Cookie notice and similar technologies
This page describes what the site stores in your browser and how you can manage your choices. Version dated 27 September 2026. Courtesy translation: the Italian version prevails.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored in your browser that let a site function, remember preferences or enable services. Technical cookies are necessary and don't require consent; non-anonymised statistics, profiling and marketing cookies can only be used after your consent.
2. What this site uses
The site uses a technical cookie to remember the choice made in the banner and, only if you consent to the "Statistics" category, the Google Analytics 4 cookies described below. There are no marketing cookies or other tracking tools such as pixels, local storage or fingerprinting.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| lms_consent | Technical, first-party | Stores the preferences expressed in the cookie banner (categories accepted, version and date of choice). | 6 months |
| _ga | Statistics, third-party (Google) — consent only | Distinguishes users for aggregated Google Analytics 4 statistics. | 13 months |
| _ga_* | Statistics, third-party (Google) — consent only | Maintains the state of the Google Analytics 4 measurement session. | 13 months |
3. Categories and consent
- Necessary: always active, essential for the site to work and to remember your choices.
- Statistics: active only if you consent. We use Google Analytics 4 in aggregate form with a truncated/anonymised IP address to understand how the site is used; you can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Marketing: not currently used. No remarketing or profiling is active.
4. Google Analytics
If you consent to the "Statistics" category, the site loads Google Analytics 4, an analytics service from Google Ireland Limited that uses cookies and similar technologies to collect aggregate data on how the site is used (pages visited, traffic source, device type). The IP address is truncated/anonymised before storage and data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted. Processing is based solely on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and may involve a transfer of data to the United States based on the standard contractual clauses adopted by Google. Loading of the script is managed with Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, Google receives only signals without personal identifiers. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the button, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google's privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How the banner works
On your first visit, the banner lets you accept, reject or customise the optional categories, with equal prominence. Closing the banner with the "X" is treated as rejection. The banner won't reappear for six months, unless the tools we use change significantly, and continuing to scroll is not treated as consent.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choices
You can change your mind at any time using the button, also available in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings: in that case the banner may reappear.
7. Third-party services
Apart from Google Analytics (consent only, see above), the site does not embed other third-party content such as maps or videos, and typefaces are hosted on our own server. The Google Maps link on the contact page opens an external page: from that point, Google's terms and cookie policy apply.
8. Regulatory references
Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code), Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. For personal data processing, see the privacy policy.
